New Pet

Ever since Kyle and I got married we have talked about getting a pet. Since we lived in apartments & were so busy with work/school, the time never seemed right to get a little pet of our own. Once we moved to GA we were both ready for a pet, but the place we rented didn't allow for any.

Now that we have a place of our own we have the best pets ever. They take care of themselves,  don't shed, don't require walks and come to visit us daily at 5:30pm. Any guesses on our new pets??

Is it a dog.....

NO

Is it a cat....

NO

Is it a turtle.....

NO

Is it a deer....

YES!!!

Meet our new pet Deer!!

This little family of 3 doe's come and visit us nearly every day at 5:30pm like clockwork and munch on our grass. We are enjoying our new wildlife...hmm... I mean pets. They are so cute. Even though there are others in my family - Dad & Justin (who shall remain nameless) who go out hunting these cute creatures nearly every day, we get to enjoy them from our den. Jealous yet Dad?

Maybe one day we'll get a real pet, but until then, we are content with our pet deer!

Our 4 Christmases - Part 2

Christmas morning we opened presents at Kim and Gary's house and only snapped one shot of us in our morning glory... thank goodness!

Afterwards we headed over to Jack and Keily's for Christmas lunch. Even though there were probably 20 people there, we only ended up with pictures of Noah -- I guess that's what happens when a kid is present!

Here are a few shots from the mini photo shoot we had in the backyard & Noah surrounded by all his Christmas loot.

After Christmas weekend we headed back up to Georgia and celebrated our last and final Christmas with Gretchen and Justin at  my parents house. Again... with a child present, nearly all my pictures are centered around Ellie!

Oh look at me - I did take pictures of other people

Our 4 Christmases - Part 1

We had fun celebrating Christmas not just once or twice, but 4 times between our 2 familes this year. We kicked off Christmas with my parents a little early. Here are a few pics from under the giant tree (which we are getting next year... yay!)

We then headed down to sunny Florida for Christmas with the Edwards. Christmas celebrations started Christmas Eve at Aunt Helen's house where we were able to spend time with Kyle's extended family.

Little Noah kept trying to walk the whole time we were there, but of course waited until after we left to show off and walk on his own.

Catching up on blogging

Welcome to 2010!! I cannot believe how long its been since I've last posted! Ever since we closed on the house in mid-November time has just seemed to fly by... or does that mean I'm getting old... I will be turning the big 2-8 in just a few short weeks - eek!!

So backing up to Thanksgiving.... we kicked off the holiday season celebrating Thanksgiving at my sister's house. We stuffed ourselves silly and some how forgot to take many pictures.

Before the crowd showed up I was able to get a few pictures of Ellie in her cute Turkey dress -- though I had trouble getting her to sit still.

Also had to throw in a few Sister Pics with our signature "Hulse" pose -- point that toe!

After Thanksgiving we started decorating the new house for Christmas and we decided that we definately need a bigger tree next year!

Kyle and I certainly got spoiled this year & ended up having 4 Christmas celebrations that started Dec 20th and went through the 28th. More to come from our celebrations, but I leave you with a few shots of our house all decked out for Christmas!
